The RA Conference is one of our annual events where paraprofessionals gather for a full day to network and learn from peers and professionals from across the Boston area.

​

Interested in hosting the conference? We're looking for a campus with the following:

​

Event Duration (including setup and break down): Approximately 7:30am - 4:00pm

Typical Attendance: 250 - 375, dependent on campus

Facility and Technology Requirements:

  • Large space for up to 400 participants for welcome, keynote, and closing

  • Space for check-in (typically a large lobby or foyer)

  • Minimum of 25 classroom spaces with seating up to 30, equipped with technology for presentations

  • Dining facility or catering for lunch for all participants and professional staff

Overnight Accommodations: None

Parking Accommodations: Space for buses, vans, and cars for attendees. Preferably free.

Food Needs: Catering or dining hall with options for gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian guests

Tentative Date: Saturday or Sunday at the end of October or early November

Accessibility Needs: Space compliant with ADA; Elevator if spaces extend past first floor

Planning Timeline: Ideally, a campus is secured during the spring or summer semester. The planning committee begins to meet sometime in August or September

Other Needs: At least one staff member of the campus is expected to serve as a liaison for the planning committee.
